Home Depot employees from Team Depot 5943 spent a day helping Carol Brumagim at her home in western Loveland, Colorado. The team connected with the nonprofit A Little Help to find someone who could use a hand.
After Brumagim's husband died, she was left to care for the couple's large property. She told CBS Colorado that the work had become more than she could manage on her own.
The volunteers cleared weeds and overgrown shrubs, mowed the lawn and handled other yard maintenance.
Brumagim said the help made a real difference. The work left the yard better cared for without asking her to manage the job by herself.
