The Government of Canada is investing more than $5.2 million in a nearly 35-kilometer paved multi-use trail in New Brunswick. The route will connect Grand Falls with the Village of Southern Victoria and Vallée-des-Rivières.

The trail will follow a former railway corridor and be built in two phases. The project includes new trail sections, signs, landscaping, rest areas with benches, and LED lighting in selected places.

A dedicated path gives people a safer way to walk or cycle between communities. It can also make everyday trips more active and invite visitors to explore the region by bike.

The project is designed to improve regional connections while supporting sustainable transportation, healthy routines, and cycling tourism in northern New Brunswick.
