After Nancy Rodriguez was told to leave the San Antonio mobile-home park where she had lived for years, she worried about the cost of moving and how she would pack while living with arthritis.
Her neighbor, Darci Harman, stepped in. While Rodriguez worked, Harman packed boxes, hauled away trash and kept helping until Rodriguez and her belongings were safely moved.
Harman did not ask for payment. Months later, when Harman and her husband were told they also had to leave the park, Rodriguez wanted to support her friend through a move of her own.
Rodriguez nominated Harman for FOX SA's Cash for Kindness program. With support from FOX SA and DJC Law, Harman received a $1,000 award.
