From August 11 to 13, Jusoor and Sanad Youth for Development held a three-day workshop for 12 undergraduate students, including eight girls in Syria and four in Jordan.The sessions focused on finding scholarships, understanding eligibility rules, writing personal statements, and building a strong CV. Each student left with an individual action plan.The workshop was designed and led by Sally Askalan, a Jordanian chemical engineering student who has studied in several countries. She brought her own experience of finding educational opportunities to the mentoring project.Jusoor also provided 11 laptops at Sanad's Youth Space so students could research scholarships and write applications. The laptops remain available to students through a reservation system.After the workshop, participants were working on personal statements, university applications, English requirements, and follow-up mentoring.
