Faifley's new education and community campus officially opened on October 22, West Dunbartonshire Council reported. It houses Edinbarnet and St Joseph's primary schools alongside early-learning and childcare centres.
The site also includes additional-support provision, community facilities and a new library. Outdoor learning areas, play spaces and an all-weather sports pitch give pupils room for lessons and activity beyond classrooms.
The campus was delivered through the Scottish Government's Learning Estate Improvement Programme with Hub West Scotland. The council describes the building as Passivhaus-designed and says the services are brought together in one accessible location.
Schools, childcare, additional support and community facilities now share the same campus, creating a new gathering place for local families as well as pupils.
