Uzbekistan's Ministry of Preschool and School Education has launched a new National Curriculum Framework for about 7 million learners.The framework was developed over almost two years with 147 national specialists, 30 international specialists, and more than 260 working meetings and consultations. UNICEF supported the work through the SmartED Project.It sets clearer learning goals and connects lessons across subjects. It also gives more attention to practical applications, digital literacy, climate and green education, and social and emotional skills.The framework uses an inclusive approach designed to make learning more accessible, including for students with disabilities and high achievers. It is intended to guide education from primary school through upper secondary school.
