Gordon Mackie, the founder of Glasgow's Red Road Wrestling Club, has been recognised by the BBC Scotland Make a Difference Awards.
The club has offered free wrestling opportunities to children and young people from all backgrounds since Mackie established it in 2001.
The award celebrates the kind of help that can be easy to overlook: making room for young people, teaching them a skill, and giving them a place where they belong.
Mackie received the Active Award, which recognises people who use sport to improve life in their communities.
