The Metropolitan Area Planning Council awarded $370,000 to eight projects led by municipalities and community groups across Greater Boston.
The grants include support for a resilience hub for low-income older residents in Fenway, green infrastructure planning in Lynn, and an Atlantic white cedar study and restoration plan in Natick.
Other projects focus on cleaner air, family wellbeing, and helping local organizations plan for climate impacts. Awards range from $20,000 to $50,000.
All recipients will take part in a peer group where they can share lessons as their projects move forward.
