The Bradford Era reports that Marshburg neighbor Dan Brinsky began plowing Susan Healy's driveway when snow made it hard for her to visit her husband, John, who was in a rehabilitation hospital.

Brinsky kept clearing the drive through the winter. After John returned home and still had trouble getting around, Brinsky's son mowed the couple's lawn, and the family continued to check on them and bring farm-fresh eggs.

John Healy later nominated Brinsky for a Good Neighbor contest through Nextdoor, where he was selected as one of five winners. The Brinskys declined payment for their help.
